Thanks for checking out my website.  As I start this
adventure in the show world I hope you continue to

My love for the breed started with Tucker in 2006.  I
thought since his grandsire was a champion that he
would also be show quality, unfortunately not.  Tucker
is neutered and will be a spoiled house dog/bed
warmer/avid yard hunter for the rest of his life. :)  
Since 2007, I have been encouraged by online
friends to start showing, through them I have learned
many things about dachshunds and myself.  I have
been blessed with the opportunity to own some very
nice dogs.  Thank you especially to Sharon & Kristi
for giving a newby a chance!  
What a joy it was to finish my 1st champion (Bentley)
in April of 2009, completely owner handled in some
good competition!
I have been informed that there is a kennel using the "Grand River" kennel name in South Dakota, they are using my
good name to sell their mixed breed mutts. I have no affiliation with them and do not recommend them to anyone.
This boy loves (or I should say
hates) RATS... in 2010, he will be
starting Earthdog to get his JE
(Junior Earthdog) title.
